Arguably yes, but some of it is enjoyable to me. Their EP's are better cause they don't go on for hours.

Even without the massive hype that it was never going to live up to it would still be pretty bland and forgettable.

Not their best but it still has a pretty incisive theme/mood. I think it will age to fit in well with the rest of their stuff.

Their top 3 are some of my favorite albums ever

The second half of the album is when it starts getting really good

actually my first BoC album I listened to and I loved it.

Music has the Right and Geogaddi are the only good LPs. Everything from Campfire on just sounds a like derivative, watered down version of Music.

Reach for the Dead got me into BoC, but the album's my least favorite of theirs. The scifi aesthetic didn't do it for me

I think it works okay as background music, but I can't give it my full attention and enjoy every detail like I can with their other albums.
