The pinnicle of metal is when you throw your friends cd and hearing it break out of the car and hearing it break for having shit taste

It is for me, although I'm not a metal-head.

In fact its one of the only metal albums still in my listening rotation along with the early Metallica albums.

of Thrash Metal? Yes.
of Metal in general? Hell no. Gorguts - Obscura exists, my friend.

Show No Mercy is literally the best thrash metal album ever released.

I rarely listen to metal anymore but I still really enjoy this. It manages that very fine line of having so many good riffs and solos while being interesting, coherent songs.
