>>69247979
why not?
>>69248037
this i can get behind
Keep /mu/tants from overtaking the entire tracker, or at least let a lot of people from outside of /mu/ in it
/mu/ doesn't deserve mutracker but we definitely need it
And make a stricter ratio and stricter rules for uploads and accepted formats, and encourage more use of the catalog numbers and labels, bitrates don't need to be as strict as what.cd was but at least allow for less uncertainty in where the files are coming from

Why exactly did it fail other than people didn't need it? And why would a revival work?
Hey don't bring back mutracker
>>69251819
>And why would a revival work?
Personally I'd use the shit out of a private tracker like what.cd was, but if it can be revived in a way so that it isn't ran awfully or if /mu/ doesn't ruin it then I can't see how it'd be bad so long as there are sufficient enough resources for it to run
If you want to know why it failed I think they explain that some in the statement left over at the site's original url at mutracker.org

Why did mutracker fail?
I understand that it was a secondary tracker for most people but was their any major reason why it failed?

>>69252891
that reason yeah
the hype of it existing was greater than that of actually using it I guess
