Saw them in Philly and talked to them after a gig where they opened for The Drums. Were very nice fellows, but they didn't seem too optimistic about the bands prospects at the time. That album was a real winner and it's a shame they never released anything else.
none desu
I wish I could cry
>>69245565
>wanted to link song
>can't find it
>CD is going for $200 on Amazon
wat the shit
guess small local artists that aren't on digital are basically gold
>>69246206
Ellery always seemed like a brat to me, but not Francis tho, looks like a pretty down to earth guy tbqhwy.
Also, yeah I guess Ellery hated the recognition/buzz the band was getting at that point, could have gotten pretty far IMO, since I think his LUH. project was pretty mediocre. Took him forever to put it out. That idea of forming some kind of "elite fan club" at the very beginning when they started was pretty autistic to begin with. Reminds me of some metalhead attitude.
>She was 15 years old
>and never seen the ocean.
>she climbed into a van
>with a vagabond,
>and the last thing she said

This reminds me of a relationship I was in 2013-2014. Toxic as shit, yet missed it for like a year when it ended. Weird. It's very cathartic to listen to now, but I've never cried to it.
>>69246410

>>69246297

>>69246570
Most of the album is meh, but there's this one song, "The Last Comanche Moon" that's amazing.
Mike does another version on another album you can find on youtube, but it isn't the same.
>>69246670
nice, now I'm intrigued, but I can't find it not even on Soulseek. If you could upload it on MEGA that'd be awesome. Dunno if you have it tho.
Not even always from sadness, sometimes it's just cause I'm in awe from its beauty. Sometimes it's cause of sadness though.
>>69246746
My father has the CD, I'll upload it some day so it exists somewhere.
Prob to youtube.
>>69246843

Yeah yeah I'm a pleb whatever, but Whatsername hit very close to home for me, beautiful song
For a few reasons:
Foolish Father because I don't have a dad and it made me wish I did
Ain't Got Nobody because it was the moment I realised Weezer were back

I absolutely hate it when people say this, you sound like some basic bitch telling a story of how upset she was at something stupid or idk. It just sounds so dumb too.
Are you alone? too

dont feel like downloading cover art but Sound of Silver. Whenever New York I Love You, But Your Bringing Me Down comes on, tears roll
literally the soundtrack to my depression from 14-16
>i don't want to live like this, lord

>>69251252

Would have cried to pic related but I lacked the ability to have emotions after listening to it.
>>69249193
It really sets the mood, and then the intro matches up with it so well. It's chilling.
>>69248321
>I want a daughter while I'm still young, I wanna hold her hand and show her some beauty before this damage is done. And if it's too much to ask, well if it's too much to ask, send me a son.
>>69248363
>You made me forget about
>Have, want, and exert
>And all of a sudden I feel proud, for being without saying a word.
One of the best love songs ever written I swear and we nearly never heard it.

i listened to this in my car on a 50 minute drive and couldnt stop crying like a babbu
on Devil In A New Dress when he says 'haven't said a word, haven't said a word to me this evening'. i was bawlin
rip
I can't say I have cried to music before, or not because of the music anyway, but if I had I think it would be this (Black Santa - Sorry If This Is Weird).
>>69248368
me too I listened to this drunk when I was going to bed and it made me so nostalgic I teared up
i listened to it earlier this year and just started crying because it's so beautiful. it didn't hit me so hard when it first came out, i don't know what changed.
none, actually but I always get really emotional at Njosnavelin
also, not an album but still, I almost cried at a Touché Amoré show, though I was also going through quite a bad time
>tfw you have no emotions and don't know how to cry
>>69251711
Disintegration loops make me feel a bit weird, like my mind is opening up, disolving, and also the atmosphere has to be right in order for it to click. Can understand how it could make you sad though.
>>69253497
near the end?
>>69245505
tfw i cut myself while drunk and listening to this album
