when does this album get good?
an actual question, not bait
like 3 minutes in when In the Flowers crescendos
>>69206993
first listen to My Girls or Brothersport
those are easy to 'click'
then just sorta get a feeling for the atmosphere the album as a whole creates.
It gets good like the second time you listen to it.
Then the third time you listen, it gets terrible again.
>>69206993
You just gotta listen to it "louder".
Actual advice I got on /mu/. It fucking worked. Just louder man. So much texture to explore.
>>69207158
not op, but this album already hurts my ears at a medium volume
>>69207192
Oh dear. What music do you regularly listen to? Is it much different, like softer?
>>69207095
>>69207115
thanks ill have to give this a few more listens
>>69207158
yeah its got good detail in texture, although i don't want to deafen myself
>>69207223
not even, its just something about this album and AnCo in general that makes it so I can't listen to them for more than 15 minutes without my ears hurting, I like the music but i don't know, maybe its the vocals?
>>69207270
I see. Could you per say, endure Tame Impala any longer then AnCo? Similar nasal style singing.
>>69207231
Do the volume enhancement within moderation my friend.
>>69207352
I add the same problem to a lesser extant with Currents so it probably is the singing
FUCK AVEY TARE
>>69207425
I cannot recommend anything more friend. Enjoy what you can.
>>69207231
bluish just made this album good. is the 2nd half just better than the 1st?
>>69207450
Then again, who wouldn't
>>69207497
i want his milk on my shreddies
>>69207493
But Bluish is AFTER Daily Routine...
>>69207596
I don't get whats so great about daily routine. I hear that its one of the album's best but for some reason it always bores me. Out of the whole album, that is the only song that still has not cliked on me.
>>69207596
daily routine wasn't that great
>>69207650
Huh, it's the opposite for me. I find it one of the most interesting tracks on MPP. Can't speak for why other people like it though.

op here, thanks everyone. decent album but i don't think it'll grow on me
>>69207868
Give it more listens you massive pleb. Best pop album of all time IMO.
>>69207949
This... except the part where OP is a pleb, he seems pretty cool.
>>69207270
>waahh this singing is hurting my ears
How does it feel knowing you have the same capacity to enjoy music as a 14 year old? Might as well give up on music as a hobby if animal fuckin collective is too hard for you to handle. You will not get far.
>>69206993
at 0:00. Have you listened to much Animal Collective before or is this your first dip into their discography?
>>69208251
no, but im familiar with tame impala's stuff
>>69208323
Animal Collective and Tame Impala really don't sound anything alike though.
You should definitely listen to the album through again. I didn't get it at all apart from My Girls the first time I heard it, but it's one of my favorites now.
