Listen to some stuff by Kria brekkan, Avey's ex wife. I think her band is called mum, and it's pretty similar. Or just other AnCo albums obviously.

The noise adds a lot. Danse Manatee capitalizes on the noise even better. Literally just keep listening to more and more noisy music and you'll get it soon enough.
