I use a mic for my acoustic guitar, audio interface for the electric, got a MIDI keyboard, and use Abelton Live Suite 9.7

It's a shit mic though

Me too, the more music the better.

I now own both an SM7b and an SM58, and I've never liked the sound of them nearly as much as the internal microphone in my old 2006 Macbook.

Buying gear is a black hole. I had so much more fun as a teenager in highschool with no gear other than a shitty acoustic guitar and my mom's old piano, just tinkering with effects and learning how to arrange music.

Now it's gain staging, mic positioning, mixing/mastering, compression, yadda yadda... it's fucking horseshit. Just make music. Leave the boring part to boring people and just create.
