Really happy about this. People need to realize that drugs are just part of the scene. The people taking them know the risks of doing so. If they don't then they're fucking idiots and deserve all bad things coming their way.

Because the council wanted to sell the building to property developers ultimately. The drugs were just an excuse. It's why towns like Bristol and Manchester which don't have such a ridiculous housing market also have a far more stable clubbing scene.

Obviously you have to like the lineup, you can't just go and expect to have fun if you don't do your research. But if you do it's the best possible environment to see them in. It's pretty hard to put into words, but having been to a lot of clubs in the UK I've never been anywhere that is better, that's all I can say.

Having said that if the night is very popular they do tend to pack the club way too tight, so I generally try and avoid stuff where the online allocation of tickets sold out very quickly.
