confield is my favorite album by them though - i don't see how you'd think that would constitute as a "mid-2000s album" considering it came out in 2001, lol. draft is nice (also I DO think surripere is one of their best tracks), albeit a little inconsistent. untilted is far too rigid and clinical for my liking. also apart from augmatic disport and iera the low end is weak as fuck.

i like oversteps so much not just for the reverb (which is admittedly lush) but because it's their most harmonically and contrapuntally complex album, but you can manipulate my opinion whatever fits your narrative, laddio.
