Jones suffered a second stroke the following day, at which point “she couldn’t really talk or respond.” However, she kept on singing up until the moment of her death.

Kind of sad to see her go. I was never really a fan of hers. Amazing singer but she was just derivative and reliving the heydays of soul without doing anything new. Still amazing at matching that sound and energy though.
