dude La Dispute are definitely embarrassing but the melodrama is part of the appeal, just like DGD's occasional silliness, get over it

Glossy, super clean production that lends no character to the instrumentation, the over done screaming vocals that have no emotion or viscera in them, the god awful mix of clean vocals to screaming. The cute little packaging of it all too, makes me sick. It's the happy meal of angst. Overall it's an emotionless, limp wristed, no guts, boring piece of music that caters to 15 year olds that just started to have arguments with their parents.

I've been a long time fan of DGD and this is the first album by them I just flat out do not like. Even their last album had some catchy choruses and riffs, but I couldn't pick out anything that interested me this time.
