the remaster was pretty disappointing, the edits to the original tracks made them worse and the extra tracks weren't anything special

It was a pretty good album, i really enjoyed her production on it, amazing instrumentals. Didn't care for Siddiq though. I thought he was a bit lackluster.

makes me wanna listen to it tonight. when I first listened to vaporwave I used to think she was a shitty producer who depended on emphasizing concept to make up for lack of technical skill. same thing with hong kong express when I had only listened to his debut album. boy was I wrong

Same, my friend made me listen to Floral Shoppe, i thought that majority of the tracks were really boring and claustrophobic. I delved deeper and found out she had other projects like Laserdisc Visions and Prism Corp. She's top notch, one of my favorite producers. Also, have you listened to her chillwave stuff? I LOVE Starcalc and Neo Cali.

Gateway is just a telepath rip but the music is great. I love the newer telepath stuff but I wish he'd release more of the old style. I keep meaning to catch up on the Virtual Dream Plaza stuff too, but it's difficult to find the time to dedicate to so many 30 min tracks.

I still think vektroid is a shitty producer and that Floral Shoppe is the most overrated vw album.
