Her voice is fantastic.
The lyrics were not very good.
The beats, while somewhat good, don't fit her voice.
Get her stuff as 'Antony and the Johnsons' instead.
it's like a shitty oscar bait movie in album form
Obama's foreign policy/10

>her
Some tranny libtard sings about the only good parts of Obama's administration like they're bad things.
4 degrees is good as a pump up song tho

Whatever you want to refer to Antony as. Her, him, do whatever you want. Point still stands.

"her" voice absolutely ruins any and all interesting sound design on this album. not to mention that his lyricism is absolutely atrocious. people say that it's because it wanted to just be blunt or whatever but that's just trying to cover up the fact that anohni doesn't know how to write lyrics.
it was an awful album and only queers and sjws "enjoyed" it.
I Am a Bird Now is better.
"Why did you seperate me from the earth" Is the best track on the album. Everything else falls short

can't take this freak seriously after seeing that abo performance. peak white liberal savior complex, using minorities as props
pretty embarrassing for her & Lopatin desu (cringeworthy lyrics on few tracks, & overblown production that doesn't really fit her) but there are some good songs tho.

did you ever listen to her previous albums >>69164883
I went into it thinking [pronoun] sucks, but was pleasantly surprised. Now, from a melodic standpoint, it's a mess, but for what it tried to do, it succeeded. Some of the songs are genuinely kind of frightening, either in sound or because they get their message across well.

Is it that one video with the 2 people chanting during his/her performance of "You Are My Sister"?
I always thought that was a parody or something.
(I still love the original, though.)

>abo performance
it was a genuinely relevant duo (because both are oppressed minorities concerned about ecology etc) but an awful performance.

i am a bird now is a perfect record. hopelessness is not a perfect record, but it's a damn good record. not a fair comparison in my view
