I think it's a huge shame that no one has really talked about this album. It's one of my favorite albums of the year. It really enjoyed the 80's inspired synths, while still staying rooted in the dream pop genre which exemplified Nocturne and Gemini.

Can't seem to get into this one, although Nocturne and Gemini were both amazing. Only track I like so far is Alien and TV queen. The sound on this album is really different and has been reworked a lot, not sure if I like it so much.
I've always had a softspot for Striborgs ambient sections on his black metal albums, so a full album was pretty good. Also the power electronics track was surprisingly comfy and enjoyable.

At first I wasn't really that into Life of Pause, but it sorta grew on me a lot recently. It's different from Nocturne and Gemini, which I think is why I wasn't feeling it at first. Honestly I think the song Life of Pause is the best thing from Wild Nothing.
Never see this album discussed on here even though its AOTY

Not underrated per se but underdiscussed, Whitney - Light Upon the Lake
God-tier cover.
God-tier concept.
God-tier musicianship.
God-tier lyrics.
A perfect 100/100 in my book. Album of the Year, Album of the Decade (so far)
this. not a single person ive come across as heard it, yet its personally almost AOTY material

yeah man, Reichpop was great
yall just don't appreciate The Handsome Family
I've always loved Neil's stuff since I first saw The ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny in 2007 (I think 2007) I really enjoyed Harry Potter puppet pals. Mouth sounds and Mouth silence was basically Silva Gunner before Silva Gunner and it's awesome.
Dinosaurchestra is one of my favorite albums ever. So when I first heard this album I was a bit disappointed but after revisiting it is think I love it. It's the most 80s Lemon Demon has ever been but still has the Lemon Demon style to it.
