What should I listen to if I like Paramore's music of around early second half of 2000s?
cheers lads, please don't judge for liking this type of music
>>69161733
This is /mu/, where we would NEVER judge anyone for their taste in music :)
>>69161772
old /mu/ is dead
which albums are specifically talking about OP?
>>69161992
Riot
Fall Out Boy
Take This To Your Grave
From Under The Cork Tree
Infinity on High
Folie à Deux
PAX AM Days
IF you like Paramore's Power-Pop 2013 self titled album try:
Save Rock and Roll
American Beauty/American Psycho

>What should I listen to if I like Paramore's music of around early second half of 2000s?
Paramore
>>69162436
nice to see newfag trips still being as witty as always
>>69162378
>>69162398
thanks lads!
>>69162093
if you want mid-2000s pop-punk, listen to blink-182's
Enema of the State
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket
blink-182 self-titled
also Neighborhoods and Californa were good, you'll probably like that.
also try Sum 41's
Half-Hour of Power
All Killer, No Filler
Does This Look Infected?
Chuck
Underclass Hero
13 Voices
also My Chemical Romance was one of the biggest acts of the era so try:
Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge
The Black Parade
Danger Days
Conventional Weapons
Fall Out Boy was also similar as well but already mentioned
Panic at the Disco's first album too
all of Panic's other albums are more similar to Paramore 2013 self-titled album so it's more Pop and alternative rock
>>69162494
what did you just call me?
>>69162518
>>69162093
here's another essential
>>69162575
>>69162649
cheers laddies for having my back
i mean, these are all band names that i recognise, but just never listened to
brand new - deja entendu
also seconding the pre-reunion FOB mentions. underrated
>>69162700
I'll give ya a few less popular acts just for fun but usually it was the popular ones that ended up being the best in that scene
>The Hush Sound
Like Vines
Goodbye Blues
They're a little less known, and they have a female vocalist
not really as punk as Paramore but similar nonetheless
>Forgive Durden
Razia's Shadow: A Musical
much more obscure but I really recommend Razia's Shadow, it deserves more recognition
>>69162611
New
Fag
Trip
>>69162797
the hush sound sound really really good
>>69161733
The Sounds are by far the superior band.
>>69161733
Metric and Yeah Yeah Yeahs
>>69162928
The Sounds are more similar to Bloodhound Gang than Paramore.
>>69162700
Paramore isn't actually bad, people probably just hate their fanbase. And you should definitely check out Sum41, a lot of their fans here agree Chuck is one of their best but all of them are worth listening to. I have not checked out their most recent album though..
be careful when looking for similar artists because a lot of crap is associated with Paramore, OP
stay away from fags like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan
>>69163007
nice James Bond digits
I can confirm that 13 Voices is good.
Goddamn I'm Dead Again is an amazing song.
>>69163007
i'll be completely honest with you
the reason why i always dismissed Sum 41 is because i thought they are trying to copy Blink 182 with their band name format
>>69163121
Man, is this type of music still profitable to record even?
I've thought the scene is completely dead, dry and nobody's interested in it.
>>69163122
there was a lot of shitty cashgrab knockoff bands in that era but Sum was not one of them.
They're in the same genre and scene but their sound is different from blink, a bit more hardcore and more emphasis on the punk side of pop-punk
>>69163230
but just to be clear
if anyone ask what kind of music i like i should never ever reply with 2000s pop-punk, correct?
>>69163184
it's been making a resurgence recently
blink-182's California debut at #1 earlier this year, and then more recently Green Day's Revolution Radio did the same thing
Panic! at the Disco's Death of Bachelor did the same around March
Decendants also had a new album too
Twitter and /mu/ were really hyped about a vague tweet MCR posted about a possible comeback
even Fall Out Boy is still making money
seems to be a lot of nostalgia for this scene.
>>69163121
Thanks for encouraging me to check it out, I've been lazy.
>>69163122
Lol, their music sounds completely different anyways.
Also
>Green Day 75 :^)
>>69163285
If you say that they'll probably think All Time Low or Newfound Glory, or at least I would.
>>69163285
just say 2000s alternative rock/punk
the pop isn't needed because >>69163502 is right.
would legit commit unforgivable acts for the opportunity to go hog wild on dem 10/10 pits desu

i bet her pussy is so tight
>>69163666
hola Satan trips
>>69163589
Yeah I would just say 2000s alternative rock
>>69163729
I don't think so. How else do you think they got that sweet record deal if now by stretching her out by the producers.
>nobody mentioned this masterpiece that had a huge hand in the 90s punk revival
>>69163666
Is Hayley Williams a patrican?
I bet she sex so good with her
If I could have the sex I would do her sex so hard all night bithc
>>69163967
When they made that album in 2013 following the Farro brothers' departure didn't she say some shit like "We're going mainstream now?"
>>69164071
lol
why is she so tiny?
>>69164271
cuz she's a woman
This was a good thread I think
>>69163008
this.
>>69161733
You could always listen to Paramore before their S/T.
Also, 10/10 who smash that and cry after
>>69164935
All We Know Is Falling is shit, but those other 2 are pretty great.
when's that next album, anyway?
Check this out
Tonight Alive
yeah but when more nudes
>>69161733
If you want some similar-sounding female-fronted Pop Punk/Alt. Rock check these out:
Halestorm
New Years Day
Flyleaf
Hey Monday
Icon For Hire
We Are The In Crowd
Fireflight
Tonight Alive is a solid band to check out. A lesser known option can be VersaEmerge. Perceptions EP, their self titled EP and their first album is pretty good. Kinda like a diet Circa Survive (very diet) with female vocals for their earlier work. Post signing to Fueled By Ramen kinda shifted away from that a bit
blink-182
