https://jelthedigitaldreamgirl.bandcamp.com
I've recorded another new session but this one is a acoustic and calls back to the Carnival days, since I used chords and lyrics that didn't end up being made into songs. Whether there's interest in Carnival or not anymore I don't know.

I'm in love with your pads, man, really 80's stuff right there. I hope this to be a very lynch-ish film cos the music helps to build that kind of atmosphere on its own. Spetially on third track.
Some time ago I was asked to make some music for a short film, but ended up quitting, I didn't had the time.
>>69158930
Loving moher of the world cover. Nice, fat synths, and percussions on the spot.
>>69158932
I listened to your last album. Loving the glitches. Samples used rythmically on the second track make it really insteresting. I will listen more cos I'm loving your use on samples.

Not big on the vocals/vocal effects but this is pretty cool otherwise. Sounds like a more intense Sophie.
>>69158908
I've commented on this before but basically I enjoy the textures and tones but I feel like some of the tracks don't really lead anywhere or end to abruptly. That being said, it's part of an OST so it makes sense that that's the case, haha.
>>69158944
I'm not a huge fan of the synth tones, which is a shame bc the parts with the fuzzy bass and more straight-forward drum beats are really fun! Pretty cool to see you're writing non-English lyrics though. Also, thanks for the feedback!

>>69158944
the mixing seems pretty sloppy, experiment more with subtractive EQing different tracks to different frequencies. The vocals are nice, but they seem off time a bit, nothing to do there but practice. When it comes to songwriting, your melodies and chord progressions feel very natural and well thought out.
Actually, the mixing got better as it went on. Nevermind that.
>>69159145
Sounds like a perpetual boss battle. The ambient parts were the best by far, but that's a personal taste.
>>69159205
This isn't bad, definitely has a strange desolate atmosphere to it. I could imagine post rock guitars playing languidly over it.
>>69159456
>>69159535
I haven't heard of The Books but I'll assume we have a similar sound, so I'll have a look for them.

>>69159456
Thanks dude, I worked a lot on the art for the last album and I'm realy happy with it.
I listened to your last album. Really honest, sincere stuff right there. It feels like you're in a room alone, just playing whatever comes to your mind. Something like that reminds me of my first impressions of Jandek.
>>69159484
Thanks for the feedback mate, I mostly wanted a "sticky, wet" synth tone, but at the end I guess I would have them fatter and more analog in a way. The spanish lyrics are really important, because for it is my first language, I guess writing english lyrics for me was kinda "lying" and hiding meanings for which I was kinda insecure about. Starting to use spanish in music for me was a huge breakout, kinda like totally exposing myself.
>>69159581
Thanks dude, I'm really new when it comes to mixing and stuff. Vocals off time will always be my weakness, but I'm working on it.
>>69159688
ahh cool picture, i like to see how people make their album art
also if you listen close you'll hear the crackle of a campfire i recorded under every song on my album, i wanted it to sound close and intimate, as if we were sitting around the fire playing made up songs, so im glad you got a similar impression
>>69160131
Nice I'll download it for later listen. I love phisical art for the albums, it makes it more a personal achievement than uploading the album to bandcamp (which is not a bad thing though)
>>69159533
I'm really bad with giving noise or drone stuff critique but here goes; basically I appreciated this but maybe it was a bit too abrasive for my taste. Whenever i listen to glitchier electronics I prefer it with a little bit more melody thrown in (like Ryoji Ikeda). That being said, I can just say that I found this an interesting listen and can see it working really well as an OST, even if it's not necessarily my taste.
>>69159688
Oh yeah I totally get that. Around a third of my lyrics are in German too bc there's just some figures of speech or the like that you can't quite translate. And each language comes with different tones and sounds obviously so it actually sets the songs apart on a musical level to a certain degree.
Also cool artwork! It's sick you draw it all yourself, I tend to just commission people for mine lol.

Description:
The title of Good Boy's new album, A Mouth Full, is quite prophetic of what it has to offer. Dizzying, disorienting synthesizers and vocoders, dwindling guitars, and colorful, terse bursts of energy, composed and comprised aside George's soft spoken, illusory-filled lyricism. Quite the mouthful indeed.
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And Eric give some love. Thank You. :)
