because its a shitty pop album
I want to like and there are things I do like about it but most of those things are things James Blake did almost 6 years ago
>>69152395
how does that stop you from liking this album
>>69153425
I like bits of the album... but for me the enjoyable parts of the album are things I feel like James Blake did almost 6 years ago

Vernon was doing the autotune thing before literally anyone else. For Emma was recorded in 2007 and Blood Bank was recorded in mid-2008, before 808s, which didn't even use the same type of autotune as Vernon. Kanye adapted the autotune he uses now from Vernon, as did James Blake.

Show me a song on for emma that uses autotune like CRΣΣKS does on 22 a million, or ya know, like on James Blake's s/t

listen to woods from the blood bank ep from 09. Kanye sampled it on lost in the world.

Hadn't heard that track before, it's pretty interesting, I like it. I still think Blake took it in somewhat of a different direction on his s/t and I think CRΣΣKS is more reminiscent of Blake's s/t than Woods though.

I've listened this album 3 times and I still think it's garbage.

totally. Woods was just autotuning. James Blake collaborated in 22 a million's production so i guess one can see Blakes influence on Creeks.

didn't know he was a collaborator, guess that explains a lot. I really liked when they worked together on I need a forest fire from Blake's album from this year, would like to hear more of them working together
