Talk about music and stuff

Dave Holland and The Roots are both tight as fuck. How's that ECM album? They've got some great stuff but a lot of their catalog lacks intensity
>>69142833
+The Roots
>>69142833
that is in my imo honestly the only good thing eberhard weber has ever done
no colours of chloe is bad
>>69142946
it's actually pretty intense
>>69142963
how is the music from that anime / how is that anime
>>69143050
Sakamichi no Apollon is good I'm not that guy but lemme tell ya
needed a more equal balance between feelsy drama and jazz tho desu
>>69142833
ye holland and the roots are A ok, havent listened to weber before though
>>69142946
lol donald fag
>>69142963
is that anime jazz in the top right?
>>69142946
Weber is decent, but you probably wouldn't like him as much if you think ECM lacks intensity. His music is more 'cool' and focuses on atmosphere I would say. Perhaps you would like Schlippenbach's stuff though, this is one of my favorites from ECM https://youtu.be/PG2GLCi6M88
>>69142963
i liek nico imo
>>69142946
if u liek satie try vienna art orchestra's tribute album to him, it's crazy minimalist third stream stuff that sounds like nothing else
>>69142833
heyo
>>69143050
is this the real gloometh
>>69143083
mummies r dope listen to The Index
>>69143115
ask me anything
>>69143050
Basically what >>69143082 said, is good, but the drama sometimes was a bit too much. The OST is pretty good
>>69143083
Yeah, Sakamichi no Apollon
>>69143115
yeah I love that recording, may be my second fav Satie interpretation
>>69143101
It's not like not intense stuff is necessarily unappealing to me, Carla Bley's latest album on ECM is one of my favs of the year, but atm I'm thirsting for something that does go wild
>>69143138
what is the best dead c
what are your thoughts on pavement
do you enjoy shaven or unshaven genitalia
>>69143188
ooh
what's your favorite
>>69143198
My favourite is de Leeuw's, the one in my collage. The eerie solemnity he evokes by playing it more slowly really strikes my feels nerve
>>69143198
i'm not answering your damn questions
>>69143258
god dammit gloomy
