This isn't a genre but this definitely is the freshest thing out in 2015-2016 and all of this is kinda part of the same scene. The range of
different styles in this scene is pretty diverse from post-ironic edits and mashups to serious experimental electronic music.
From experimental bass music that takes alot from instrumental grime, juke and baltimore club to groovy soundscapes.
Some of the notable traits are heavy use of sound fxs such as glass breaking, guns, swords, transformers movies sound design type thingys as
percussive elements, 2000's nu-metal and pop acapellas and trance synth lines

Yeah I was just about to add to that old post that Phoenixxx is one of the best things to come out of this scene (I hadn't heard it yeat when I originally made that post). Definitely one of my favorites from this year too.
