this, he doesn't have the unique style of Avey or Panda and isn't as versatile or as much of a wildcard as Geo. his sound makes a nice contribution to the band (particularly his guitar tone,) but ultimately he's the filler member.

he has the least defined role in the band other than being the guy who makes their work sound the way it does. I'd say he's vitally important for that though.

it's somewhat unique compared to most psych/indie rock, but much of it feels like someone took the band's formula for making music and stripped out all of their style from it other than Deak's guitar playing. Just Am in particular may be one of the most pointless things in any anco release, it feels like someone trying to rip them off (poorly) and then going on for five minutes longer than it needs to be.
