Jesus Christ! I haven't thought about The Morning Benders in years! This album was BNM the first time I visited p4k. Pretty much the exact album that got me into "indie".

Apparently Bender means faggot in the UK and they didn't want to go on """""""""""""""demeaning the gay community"""""""""""""""".

They changed their name to Pop Etc and released one of the worst synthy-dance records I've ever heard. A shame really considering Big Echo was a great, guitar-driven indie pop record.
