Looks like you were all wron..... oh wait this album actually isn't that good
>>69127474
Not especially. I actually got into them because of the Halo 2 OST as well... but I really like those Jazz Fusion tracks they did. I was disappointed they weren't more like that.
But if you liked Follow I would say at least give Make Yourself and Morning View a shot.

i'll give them a try, thanks anon
Adolescents is such a nice song
they were actually pretty good
what tf happened to them? seemed to just fall off the map out of nowhere
>>69127570
They were really consistent and popular up until the late 2000s. After their '06 release they got really lazy and have only put out one album since then in 2011.
>>69127003
pardon me is great and its absolutely buttrock which makes it more impressive
the strokes
>>69127720
Any particular reason why they just stopped? Have they done anything like interviews or concerts?
>>69127804
Pretty sure they've toured fairly regularly over the years. They just got lazy with albums. They did a best of/b-sides/demos release in '09 with some new tracks and they just put out a 4 song EP last year and are supposedly doing another EP coming up.
So they didn't really stop as a band. But I think the lack of new albums is part of the reason why it appears to a lot of people that they just fell off the map.

I caught them back in 2011. They're actually pretty solid live.

This it's morning view not g.a.r.b.a.g.e.
>>69127849
That's just weird. They could have been super successful. Coldplay/Muse level probably.
>>69127804
>Any particular reason why they just stopped?
they're all in their 40's and have families
>>69128080
They were fairly successful from the mid 90s through the mid 2000s. I don't think they were likely to get much bigger, especially not into the 2010s.
>>69126591
what was the old one where it goes something like "look at you now, look at you now you're, put in ya place, put in ya place"
I could have it way off but I think you know what I'm talking about.
