Should I like this album /mu/, or is it just a meme?

It's an incredible album and I implore you to listen to it. Give it a few tries, its not too accessible. I would personally give it a 10/10. Many here would agree with me.

That being said, no one is forcing you to like it. /mu/core albums such as ITAOTS are only memes because they get posted so often that they become memes.

Yeah, I think it's my favourite album that I've ever listened to.

Both. It's a great album and a lot of people love it, but Jeff's voice can be inaccessible and the lyrics can be weird: I love you jesus christ, semen stains the mountaintops, etc. Also it was partly inspired by Anne Frank. These things put people off, then when they see how much it's posted they call it a meme.

You may not like it at first, but if you take the time to listen you will fall in love with it like most everyone else who has listened to it.

(on avery island is better tho)
