I read in an interview that after Varg killed Euro, he had Snorre drive him away from the crime scene, but Snorre had completely lost his shit so he kept driving in circles for 30 minutes before finally dropping Varg to a lake where he could get rid of his shirt.

Not sure if I'm taking that too literally, but it reminds me of the "Vortex" motif that Snorre uses as a metaphor for determinism and fate.
