No, really. Explain how this is good music.

>>69097542
Thats not what your mom said

yup
DUDE WEED LMAO
you need weed to enjoy it
or have turbo autism
>>69098215
Why would you be here without turbo autis/mu/?
>>69097699
It sounds good
>>69097699
I don't know, you don't like it, I do. Simple as that. You don't have to like what I like.
>>69097764
But seriously, even my mom enjoys Loveless. I'm convinced this endless slew of "it's just noise!" threads are some kind of ruse
>>69098324
/mu/ is literally Facebook tier normie shit just like /sp/
if you want real autism, look at /tv/
Every shoegaze record that came after it is better
>>69097699
what is music, anon?
kind of respect it for being pioneering assuming that it was pioneering but there's something really really bad about the feeling of the album as a whole like there's something evil lurking under the noise that you can only detect when your third eye is open like mine that makes the whole experience full frightening and sometimes outright scary.
>>69099130
reading this made me feel excited and scared. nice words anon, good writing too.
>>69099180
fluoride
it sounds good
>>69099130
What drugs are you on?
I've listened to Loveless dozens of times and never got that vibe
What is the best track of loveless, and why it is sometimes?
>>69100415
whats the best track and why is it Come In Alone?
>>69097699
>tfw you're this insecure about your own taste in music.
>>69099130
The only thing lurking beneath the noise is a Cocteau Twins knockoff
it's probably the greatest album of all time
not my favorite, but the greatest
>>69099130
This. Feels like Kevin's pulling sounds out of some Lovecraftian dimension.

That sucks anon, Loveless always makes me feel like I'm floating under the influence of drugs. It brings out a lot of emotion and vivid imagery. It's been getting a lot of shit here on /mu/ recently for some reason, but personally the sound and production it has have never been replicated in the exact way Kevin Shields, and Colm O'Ciosoig made it. Even the filler track here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtrROOxqnFE
The way it then leads into:

ones ability to enjoy loveless is a great litmus test for proper music appreciation
just let it take you man, just let it take you and you'll understand
Yeah, I listened to this for the first time today. The noise walls were just really bad, and the only times i really enjoyed it where when it was on weird post-song loops or actually comprehensible.
can't wait for the official vinyl reissue to come out already.
>>69101430
Good. Now, listen to it twice a day for the next 2-3 months until it clicks, and your life will change forever.
>>69099130
SO I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON
Only Shallow feels like the only pure track
>>69097542
their older stuff is better desu
>>69101505
No thanks
>>69099130
The weird little flute/synth noise that's on a bunch of tracks (might be bilinda/kevin's sampled voice) always had an uncanny quality to it in the way it warps in and out of tune between notes and the sequenced drums have a pretty sterile feel to them
I never felt like there was any sinister quality to the album though, it's mostly just flowery melancholy or romance shit
>>69101558
Enjoy dying a pleb, pleb.
at first I only liked "Soon" - still believe it's the best track and probably the most accesible.
thing is, it's the last track so if you didn't like what's before you've probably didn't hear this at all
>>69097542
>calling music meaningless
