idunno why specifically, but everyone involved is brilliant. every band member, the producer, the engineer. it's all just great.

also, I like to think of Badmotorfinger as a 40 of Steel Reserve, Superunknown as a bottle of upper-market microbrew beer, and Down On The Upside as an aged wine.

when you're done appreciating Superunknown do graduate to DotU. it's fucking art.
