Show No Mercy is a better Thrash album than Spreading The Disease though.

I also like SnM over StD, but it sounds more nwobhm esque than trash. Also, i think Spreading has a more unique sound, although some may not like Belladonna's voice

I dunno, I thought Show No Mercy was a fairly good early Thrash kind of standard, although I get the NWOBHM comment since it's a little like a more extreme version of Venom I reckon. I think Spreading The Disease is the better album in terms of productions and vocals but the overall feel of Show No Mercy is more like Thrash than Spreading The Disease, in my opinion.
