Machinefabriek - Dauw
The textures in this album are wonderful. It's really beautiful. This is the s/t track, which has a beautiful video as well.

Mark Pritchard - Under the Sun
here's another ambient album, one of my favorite albums from 2016. It's from the guy from Global Communication. It has Thom Yorke on one of the tracks

Hoedh - Hymnvs
Another ambient album (can you tell it's my favorite genre). The dude died pretty soon after making this album. It's sad and dark, but also really epic somehow. Like a soundtrack to a Greek tragedy about a doomed hero or something.
this track is called Helige (Sophisme Sonores)

Glenn Branca - The Ascension
Not exactly obscure, but I definitely feel it's underappreciated. Huge influence on Swans and some would argue post-rock. Sounds like a dozen guitars playing at once (there are only 4)

Murcof - Reflejo
just what murcof does best, with a little more piano than usual; remembranza is a great listen

>that track is a standout
thats true but i love the album as a whole. Porselein is a lovely opener and the sounds that come in (no idea what they are, sounds like metal sheets being dragged over guitar strings) are just divine. Fonograaf is a great track, very dense. Engineer feels like a buildup to Dauw, really gives a lot of space for the guitar to come in and grab your attention. And Singel is just hypnotic with a lovely payoff to boot. The whole album kind of revolves around the track Dauw, and it packs more than enough emotional punch for an entire album (at least, for an entire album of ambient music).
I listened to your track and its lovely! Really enjoyed the piano and its interplay with the beat
