I don't know if you guys can help me on this but, I just made a last.fm account the other day and as soon as I started scrobbling I realized that something was wrong.

The first album I scrobbled had 17 tracks, and when I checked my profile, it said that I had listened to the album 17 times, and, well, I hadn't.
It keeps happening and it's really frustrating.

Is there a way to fix this?

This just means that I have 39 plays of tracks from that album, not that I played that album 39 times

It counts every track play as an album play.
I mean, what's the point of having last.fm if you're not going to get accurate stats.

That's not what it means lol, but I can see why you got confused. In my case, it means that 39 of the tracks I "scrobbled" were from that album.

I don't think there's any way for last.fm to keep track of how many times you listened to an album cover to cover, unfortunately.

Yeah it's too bad, I feel like the focus of last.fm is more the songs than the albums. A lot of people scrobble spotify radio or listen to the same tracks from albums over and over.
