I don't like Bowie, and I'd like to think a popular artist from today could release a hyped album that was actually superior.
Blackstar may be the only Bowie album I actually like (mainly because of the Scott Walker sound) it has some good songs and interesting harmonic structures.
Beyonce's album is just another mediocre pop album for me.
