We'll call ourselves Sahara Yacht Club

>Members
My band is made up of Sufjan on rhythmic guitar and vocals, myself on lead guitar, Jim O'Rourke on bass and Zach Hill on drums.
>Sound
We play avant-folk rock. Danger Mouse produces.
>Single
The hit single is called "Foul"
>>
>>68987225
Sounds like everyone's potential is being wasted here
>>
>>68987153

Of course I meant "your first unannounced underground indie lo-fi vinyl record downloadable for free on selected darknet sites".
>>
>>68987253
lmfao
>>
Random people who can barely play most likely.

Lo-fi jamming noise rock. Heavily influenced by Ein Produkt der Deutsch-Amerikanischen Freundschaft and Trash Dog.

The ironic "clean" song that was taken too seriously. Dunno title but it would be about love of course.
>>
just me
some weird kind of guitar-based lo-fi post-ironic-sad thing
"it will never catch on" it's the hit single
>>
Just a couple of cool dudes.

Melodic, youth-crew esque hardcore.

i don't think I would really do singles.

I've been thinking about learning how to play drums so I could possibly record something for fun, and then maybe go from there.

'traditional' sounding folk music with pump organ, daegeum, bag pipes and bells.
>>
I dream about this kind of thing all the time, I've got it all planned out.
>Band has a name that is beautiful - sounding, something like Solitude or Hope
>Band consists of very attractive but antisocial/eccentric frontman on guitar/vocals, qt girl on 2nd guitar, no one cares about drummer or bassist even though they are talented at their respective instruments
>Music is loud, tropical - sounding, fast mix of noise rock and shoegaze with nostalgic vibes
>No singles, band comes seemingly out of nowhere with a 30-minute album that becomes an instant underground classic. They announce a second album but before it is completed the frontman kills himself.

I've given this too much thought
>>
>with some jolly guys
>traditional -sounding dark bluesy folk music, with some cheerful tracks
>Turn the lights off (in my native language)
>>
>>68986979
the answer to all of those questions is: farts
>>
>>68987993
I mean, it's a strong concept
>>
> bands name is an organ
> plays neofolk
> me on guitar and vocals
> qt on violin and second vocals and occasionally on accordion
> freak on military drums
> random guy on second guitar or keyboards
> random guy on bass
> band praises the depth of the human mind and the spirits of nature
> practices meme-magic on stage
> takes itself utterly serious
> forms itself in 2017
>>
Bass+drums power duo with me on bass and a hobo dressed like Hitler on drums

The unholy son between the Peter Brotzmann Quartet, Drunkdriver and iwrotehaikus

It's the radio version of a 36 minute long cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart featuring my side project Chill Will and the Literal Faggots

Just me

soft electronics and guitar rifts, almost classical sounding.
>Single
Its not a pop band so no single.

Techincally I do make music but I can't play guitar for shit. I am pretty decent working with synths.
>>
>members
I would want me on guitar and two guys, one on drums, other on bass other guys that aren't assholes

>sound
Pretty much just punk

>Single

I like this thread a lot OP. Good idea.

>What are it's members?
Me, my brother, my only friend, a tranny from a BDSM club.
>How does it sound?
Extremely dark no-wave about sexual degeneracy & we'd probably include some random Peter Sotos-esque track in the direct middle of our first album.

We'd only do that for the fun of it though.

Our second album will be actually serious & would be an experimental ambient-electronic album something like Coil's latter career except no words.
>What is the name of your first big hit single?
We'd be underground so none.

It sounds pretty much like that song "Planet Telex" by radiohead.

I play guitar and sing and everyone else does exactly what I want.

Then we go and do a song that sounds almost exactly like Mayonaise by the smashing pumpkins.

>>68988825
I'm sure that you could find something for her to do on stage, maybe she shakes a tamborine and when you sing she sings harmonies.
>>
