Is it bad to just listen to a small selection of music over and over?
I fucking hate people like this, but all the ones I've met just choose 20 or 30 relevant pop songs and listen to nothing else.
Whatever floats your boat though.

I don't really think it matters if you like it

Listen to whatever you want to listen to, don't let people tell you otherwise

it's good it means you know what you like, expand it slowly.
only fucking nerds/idiots want to collect artists/bands like fucking pokemon, take your time in digesting what you enjoy.
Listen to music however you enjoy it
I do the same thing and end up changing the playlist over time to suit what I'm feeling.

It becomes not unlike a porn addiction once you get deep enough - you're always searching for that one PERFECT album that will blow your mind and bust your nut.
First you start off listen to general recommendations - stuff the kid that works at Subway listens to while smoking joints and fucking his girlfriend in his dad's car.
Then you start getting recommendations from people at record stores, cruising last.fm, maybe going to shows and seeking out friendships with people in that respective scene.
Next thing you know you're neck deep on some illegal Sudanese torrent site looking for limited edition albums of reverberd farts.
It's a dangerous road, friend.

it's good 2bh.
people who just like music and aren't music nerd collectors or music fashion cunts are the best people.

It's not bad, hear what you like, but I do recommend to lurk for more, you may find great stuff you like a lot

I never talk about music outside /mu/, none of my friends or family care at all about music. But damn I love discovering it all. Just about anything I get something out of.
