I don't have a couch, but I would gladly permit you to sleep with me in my bed. We don't have to touch or anything but I would watch you while you sleep and listen to your peaceful breathing. I might also pull up your eyelids to see how your eyes look while you're asleep, just out of curiosity. 2bh if you're making "noisy punk" music you're either trying to be Sonic Youth/Big Black or (hopefully) Jesus Lizard, the latter is preferred but everything great about JL (the tight band dynamic, the energy, noise and the suspension of instrumental and vocal segments) were all perfected by JL.

Lightning Bolt, Melt Banana, Mclusky etc all these try and fail with the only options being to ape their heroes (Mclusky, FOTL (even though they're the same band)) or try and come up with some kind of gimmick to see if they can float above the rest (Melt B, Lightning Bolt).

The former gets some praise based on nostalgia while the latter tries its best to come up on top but gets shelved after a week of their new album being released due to how quickly their gimmick gets boring.
