Probably piano though in all honestly. Any faggot can play chords but to play serious piano literature takes a lifetime of dedication. Violin is one that you really have to spend a long time with so you can make it not sound like a dying cat. Also agree with the piccolo anons, i played flute in high school and having to play that piccolo in tune was the hardest thing on the planet.

pianos a pretty good instrument. it's not too hard to get to the point where you can play a lot of rock/pop stuff. I don't think it's that much harder to get to that point than on guitar. it's literally pressing the right key with decent technique.

but yeah there's pretty much an infinite ceiling for complexity on it.
