unknown pleasures is a much more complete body of work. Like an album was envisaged thematically rather than closer which just feels like a collection of songs.

UP. This is coming from a guy who listened to Closer first and is very sentimental about the record. I love tracks like "Isolation" and "24 hours" but UP is the more consistent record.
