yeah I think that's why Giles Corey is such a great album, it's still got the long, emotional songs but it's a lot easier to listen to casually, partly because the overall length is only 56 minutes

Have started listening to this recently.. In my opinion, If some of the tracks had been more polished, this would've been a modern rock classic. Love "Music Will Untune the Sky" and "Dan and Tim.."

I disagree. I think minus one or two songs on Deathconsciousness its nearly perfect. TUW lacks the intense emotions and the scope that Deathconsciousness had. The production is so much better on TUW though, makes me wish Dan wasn't retarded and knew how to back up his shit.

He released Black Wing not too long ago, there was a Giles Corey EP (Hinterkaifeck, not Deconstructionist, although that was good too) that was really good about a year or so ago, and apparently Dan is working on a new Giles Corey album. He seems really busy with his family and normal person job though.
