I've explored a bit of post punk and madchester stuff, but I want to hear more good britpop.

Not a huge fan of the excessively british voices of Oasis but I'd give it another listen. If you can recommend more colony-pop bands like weezer that would be cool too

Cast were great, their songs were spiritual and a lot deeper than the average Britpop lyrics. Black Grape's first album was groovy and fun as fuck. Put it on for instant party. Pulp's music was horrible.

Doves is still great 17 minutes in. It's like Elbow, Parachutes era Coldplay and OK computer

Best Britpop band is from Las Vegas

Pulp or Blur are the only really good ones. I grew up with Britpop and I'm glad it died. Supergrass, Oasis and Stereophonics are all terrible and haunted me for so much of my life.

Not big on britpop, but really like this album. Would this qualify? Any thoughts on it?
