I read your post, all you said was that drone doesn't have many good albums, and that it's some sort of entry level avant-garde genre. I asked what genre is less entry level in your eyes and you just responded with a question my bro. I've listened to a great deal of avant-garde classical and jazz, and they're interesting in their own way, just like drone is. I don't see why you dislike the genre so much, for sure there are some shitty well regarded albums in it, like basically anything that calls itself dark ambient, but again, every genre has shitty albums.
