he has some good songs, but mostly eh. much like u2, way too "earnest" and anthemic for my tastes.

went to one of his shows a few years ago

went for 4 hours, was quite impressed. I'm a bit so-so on his overall music, but I sort of like Nebraska and "Wild, The Innocent and the E Street Shuffle"
