I saw Stefan at the mall the day Hot Head was released (a few hours prior, actually). He was dressed in a black leather jacket, black skinny jeans, black shoes and a white shirt which was visible under the jacket which was only partially zipped up. I expected him to be taller based on his live performances but he must wear really tall boots under his jeans when on stage.

He got in line at the pizza joint and ordered a slice of cheese pizza, then proceeded to sit down a few tables across from me, facing away. He pulled out his black smartphone and started watching a youtube video, I think it was footage of a factory or warehouse. Someone started yelling "FUCK FUCK FUCK" before the video abruptly ended. He giggled and then stood up, walked over to the trash can and threw away his pizza without ever having touched it.

I'm not sure if it was Zach, but after Stefan left, a tall skinny white guy in a white shirt with long, brownish-goldish hair began frantically looking for someone. He paced back and forth between various restaurants shouting incomprehensible babble before something caught his eye and he ran in the same direction Stefan went. He may have been tasked with keeping an eye on Stefan to make sure he didn't injure himself during a bulimia induced trance because I think both went to the restroom.

Other than hanging with Marty Friedman, Dave Urich was my guitar teacher. Haroula Rose and I went to HS together and stay in touch. My band once opened for a burlesque/industrial project some of the OG Ministry guys (sans Al) put together - Idr band name. The Q brothers are friends. Hung with Phil Free Art a few times (RIP). My exgf and bff dated Mike Kinsella, so we chilled with him and Tim a few times. Mike Felumlee from the Smoking Popes was our drummer's for-fun "nemesis" and really mostly just local Chicago b and c list artists that I crossed paths with when I was playing out as a d list, lol.

The drank too much and lent/lost my headlamp to the guitarist of Sugar Candy Mountain while we were camping at this fest. Rubbed shoulders with a lot of cats that weekend, ended up unknowingly kicking it with the lead of Mild High Club at the swimming hole cos I like rock climbing over water. Weird seeing someone own the stage after something like that.

Hung out with PWR BTTM too. They told me to never wear beanies and flannel like the straight hipster critics that love them so much. Funny dudes.

After an LCD show, I was in the peformer car park at EP and I met him and I said all the cliché stuff, like, "Oh James, I love LCD, they're the best band ever" and he said stuff like, "Whats your band" and I told him. But, then I said that my favourite song by him was Watch the tapes, then he gave me a weird look shook, said "Oh, ok", my hand and left, it was awseome and weird at the same time
