What was your favorite track off Here Come the Warm Jets?
>>68763096
The Paw Paw Negro Blowtorch and Self Titled (specially this one). This record has a really intricate and inventive production, but it didn't get my attention as much as Before And After Science did.

Was hoping you'd say the title track. It's really impressive that with just with his production and mastering, he is able to have such a basic track feel so meaningful.
And yeah, Before and After Science is definitely a lot better as a complete album.
Let's raid Marcel's RYM for old time's sake

one time my jazz instructor told me to "play the trombone like curtis fuller"
i had never listened to curtis fuller
i played with a little more aggression and he was like "YES! LIKE THAT!" and i impressed everyone

I've listened to early Schulze work, and Zeit, great fucking stuff. Though I'm not too big on Schulze as he went on.

Whoops.

Never got all the hype behind Ascension, especially given its #1 status on the rym free jazz chart. Idk how into the genre you are, but check out Izipho Zam by Pharoah Sanders

For the reputation that GZ album has I was very disappointed in it. Null And Void seems a little more succinct.
