Is pic related the best concept album ever made?
>>68754893
No
but I really like that album
Yes, it also single handedly saved prog rock from the mediocre influences of "prog" metal.
>>68754893
what album is this
what's the concept senpai
>>68754893
It's not even their best concept album
>>68756415
No, it didn't. It was a refreshing break in a world of prog metal, but they've since broken up and upwards of 80% of modern prog bands are still generic prog metal bands.
>>68756415
How come all modern prog is shit, then?

It's based on the story of Cedric's friend Julio.
Guy was in a coma (overdose-induced i think not too sure about it) and after getting out if it he jumped on a highway. He was some sort of El Paso-ian artist and he influenced Cedric heavily, in drug choices too I might add,
There's even an At The Drive In song dedicated to him.

There's also an website somewhere around the net where a guy analyzes the album song by song

I think he's the one that introduced Omar and Cedric to experimental music when they were teens listening only to punk rock.
