Don't think it's bad at all, but it feels like the least risky and most poppy albums. Like they mainly made it so they could break out into the mainstream. There's too many songs that just feel too clean, but there's still some great ones like Bukowski and the World At Large. I honestly enjoy Strangers more because at least the lyrics are more interesting.

Why does no one talk about this, and why were these songs not on their actual albums? There's only two songs on No One's First that I wouldn't consider some of the absolute best of their 2000's stuff.

lol I should listen to that one more. History Sticks to Your Feet is an awesome tune. It probably would have made We Were Dead better if they replaced some of the blander songs with King Rat or the Whale Song.
