I've been thinking about buying a gramophone and have two questions:
1. What is a good/decent (price/quality wise) beginner level unit?
2. While I primarily intend to use it to listen to vinyls, is it also good for scratching and similar stuff? Have no idea how any of this works, so listening to vinyls is a priority.
Oh and
3. If possible, I meant "beginner level" to be from 100 - 200 euros

>Gramophone
>"vinyls"
Okay buddy, let's set a couple things straight...
You keep using the term "vinyls", people are gonna jump on you and tear you apart. "Vinyl" is fine, but it's like "deer". The plural is the same as the singular.
And no one uses the term "gramophone" anymore. It's "turntable".
Now I don't really know the exchange rate for USD to Euros, but new, good turntables aren't cheap. You'd be better off finding an older direct drive table, something probably by Technics, JVC, Sony, and of those older industry giants. Make sure it has a counter-weight and anti-skate, and do your research on the table.

AT LP120 - good for listening, not good for scratching

If you're going to scratch, it'll have to be a direct drive.

nigger this is like 600 euros

what's a direct drive?

A direct drive is the alternate to having a belt drive, basically the motor is directly underneath the platter so it has a better speed control.

The new Pro-Ject Essential will feature an acrylic platter by default. Those are nice budget tables.
