Is there any justifiable reason to listen to your music on shuffle other than exercising/parties?
My roommate says he's trying to "get into" LCD Soundsystem but he just plays the same singles over and over again and it triggers me more than it should.

what I do is every time I get a new album I listen to it and as I go I add all the good songs (usually 2 or 3 per album) to my "Good Shit" playlist and then I just listen to that massive playlist on shuffle

What about greatest hits albums?

I also do this, except instead of 2 or 3, it's most of the album minus 1 or 2 clunkers

only a fucking pleb would listen to a greatest hits album

well it depends on the album, some albums tell a story in a certain order so its kinda stupid to play certain songs by themself
