>Phil will either go into the woods with his daughter and become one with nature and then return from his seclusion to compose the greatest philosophical statement of the millennia, transcending everything he did on Mount Eerie and The Glow, creating and solving entire new mega genres and techniques and sound structures every other song
>or he'll get super depressed and never make music again

Both are definitely possibilities hilariously enough. It's totally up in the air from here on out. He has every right in the world to never make music again though. He's got a severely deep wound that will probably never heal. I wish the best for the man, he's made incredible art and deserves to be able to renounce music. I'd like to hear more from him of course, but we already have so much excellent stuff. Sauna absolutely blew me away, still does on every listen. It's one of his best easily. I don't really care about 'topping' Sauna, but it'd be nice to hear a track or two down the line. He's got a daughter to support he may just have to continue to release things intermediately for years to come.

If he ever makes music again it will be his best work yet.
