Would anybody actually buy a record from somebody's bandcamp page, if they enjoyed the music? I'm thinking about having some records pressed. They would probably be around $20 to purchase. Would anybody pay that for an underground, "literally who" band? I don't want to waste my money ordering records if nobody actually pays for them.

Well when you play live, do people ask about merch?

We don't play live. We all live in different cities. We release our music online. I work in a record store, though. I might be able to sell a few through the store.

get 5 pressed and see what happens

lol then don't bother. it's pretty much for serious musicians only

That's actually really expensive because its a short run. Getting 100 pressed is the cheapest way to do it.
I've bought a vinyl copy of USA Out of Vietnam's Crashing Diseases and Incurable Airplanes through band camp. If you've had a solid number of digital sales and your stuff hits the demographic that buys records you could try it.
Still wouldn't suggest it unless you guys are working towards a career in music.
Don't bother unless you know for a fact they'll sell. Even CDs are hard to peddle. Only did a run of 25 of what I consider my best work and I still have a few left over three years later.
I bought Rain Temple on vinyl off of 2814's BC

Yes, but probably not enough to turn a profit.
I've bought a lot of records like this, and it seems like a lot of times the artist/label ends up not being able to move them all and offer the remaining records for like 80% off or just giving them away for free.
Hey btw, can you see how many people grab your music for free if it's a pay-what-you-want release? I always wondered that.

Yes it tells you how many download and how many purchases.
I would buy Blank Banshee 0 if you pressed it

I bought a DsO record on their Bandcamp, if that counts...
