I can't listen to the while album in one sitting unlike every other album.

I think Plastic Beach is their most inconsistent album.

Stuff like Empire Ants, Rhinestone Eyes, and Melancholy Hill transcend anything else that Gorillaz had done before, but the rest of the album was sadly pretty forgettable.

Demon Days' peaks weren't quite as high, but the weak songs there were miles better than the weak songs on Beach.

And of course, it goes without saying that there were no "weak songs" on pic related in the first place. As the years roll on, it becomes increasingly clear that the self-titled was an utterly flawless landmark album on the same tier as OK Computer and Loveless.

Their s/T is pretty underrated. Sound Check (Gravity), Re-Hash and Slow Country are god-tier songs.

I don't think it tops demon days, not sure if it beats eponymous debut. Empire Ants, Rhinestone Eyes, Some Kind of Nature, Broken were pretty good but honestly a bit corny. This whole album is "good" but not really memorable I think.

Even the "off" tracks on that album were great. Just remember that 5/4, New Genius, Man Research, Latin Simone, and Starshine were all on the same album.

Also, the OG Latin Simone with Albarn lyrics curb-stomps the Ibrahim Ferrer version.

Empire Ants is the best Gorillaz song
Like others said it has weak spots like White Flag and Glitter Freeze but I dint think they're as weak a people make them out to be.
Sweepstakes used to be my least favorite but it grew on me a lot.
