I usually love songs that are over ten minutes, but Sister Ray is actually the only song on White Light/White Heat that I don't really care for. The other songs were either enthralling bursts of energy or eerie sort of interludes, but Sister Ray seems to rely on its running time to be interesting. The track just sort of meanders with no interesting development and doesn't really warrant an eighteen minute song.
