Alright listen up faggots. I'm the guy in pic related. Joined less than a year ago; basically newfag. Tell me what record player I should buy for a reasonable price.

Tfw keep buying vinyl but your player is trash

Go to a goodwill and pick up a used player that has anti-skip/a counterweight and uses real cartridges, not those crosley ones.

well i guess you should stop buying records and use that money that you would normally spend on records on a new player, faggot

Pro-ject debut III is the cheapest decent record player

I've never owned one but have heard real good things about the U-Turn Orbit for a new entry-level table that won't gnaw on your records. I think they go for $180.
Either that or hit up craiglist for decent vintage tables, but be prepared to have to change a needle or perform minor maintenance. Goodwill/thrift stores are an option, as the other guy in the thread said, but it's becoming harder to find nice equipment/records there ever since vinyl became fashionable again. A lot of them are picked clean on a regular basis by other people hunting records and vinyl equipment.

>OP asks for affordable record player
>posts $300 record player
OP, there's an audio-technica on amazon for $99. Probably the best one you can get around the $100 mark.

Check out the UTurn Orbit, I've got it and it's been treating me really well
When going to buy an audio technical lp 120 (was looking for it because everybody says it's the best), I was told not to buy it and that there's far better, such as the teac tn 300 which is what I bought.
They had both at the store and they were the same price so I doubt his objective was to make more money out of me.
